I am looking for quotes to install a freestanding wood fireplace at my home. I have a double storey house and I am planning to have it downstairs in the dining area. Due to solar panels directly above, the flue needs to penetrate through the wall and clear the eaves outside. I will remove the bar currently there as per photo attached. I have approximately 8 cubic metres of blue gum logs that need to be chopped up into smaller pieces for a fireplace. The logs are in my back yard from a previously cut down tree. So they were need to be chopped up using a chainsaw or a log splitter. A log splitter can be moved around to the back of the house as long as it is not wider than 1500mm. Some of them pieces may need to be chainsawed to fit into log see splitter. I am happy for on site viewing for quotation. If you have any questions please contact me.
