Looking for a handyman or person that is able to hang a flower arrangement from ceiling beams in an exposed warehouse located in Newstead, Brisbane. This is purely a labour task, all string/line to hang flowers and flowers will be included. Requirements below: 1) must have appropriate insurances (public liability and workplace etc). These must be provided to venue prior to works commencing; 2) must supply own ladders or devices to reach ceiling; 3) installation must occur on a Thursday prior to Midday; and 4) removal must occur on Friday (day after event) prior to Midday. You will not be responsible for the disposing of the flowers etc. You just need to remove them from the beams and leave flower arrangement on floor. Sample photo shown.

Hi, I need help with setting up and packing up faux florals for a wedding ceremony and reception on 9/10/25. At this stage, we require a floral arch and welcome sign to be picked up from my house in Blacktown and then to be transported to the ceremony (The Rocks) and then to the reception (Alexandria). It will also need to be packed up and transported back to our house after the reception. The arch is 2m and 2.2m tall and about 1m wide each. It can also be dismantled (in half) but will then need to be reassembled. You will have heaps of free time during the actual ceremony and reception itself :) Previous experience with setting up wedding florals preferred. Price is negotiable. You’ll probably need a truck or van to transport the florals.

We require a florist( perhaps x2) to create bouquets from floral arrangements at an event. You will need to use the flowers from table decorations and some other floral arrangements. There are not masses of flowers but the job would probably take around an hour to 90mins to complete. All wrapping materials including paper and ribbons for the bouquets will be supplied. You must be fit and able to lift. Efficient and can take initiative. Anywhere between 4 - 6 hours.
