Fridge is not cooling but the freezer is working, we got this fridge almost 2 weeks ago but the fridge is no longer cooling. The previous fridge was running ok for a week before it tripped the power and what we believe to be the compressor, stopped working. This caused the outlet to stop working and the fridge/freezer to not cool at all. We've put the new fridge into a different outlet, we are not sure if it has stopped working due to wiring damage in the wall or it being a faulty fridge. We bought both fridges from marketplace but they were from a fridge reseller with various good reviews and both fridges did work perfectly initially. Can you diagnose/fix the problem? Be it a faulty outlet or faulty fridge? Do we need a multimeter to access the voltage of the outlet and if it can handle that of the fridge?

My commercial vertical freezer won't cool down properly. The con. fan not running. Now I've been trying to cool down by using external fan and the temp is coming down at the moment.

One day ago, we noticed that our freezer was not working properly. The ice cubes were melting. We waiting until this morning, and it was still the case. So we started to clean behind the fridge and test the fan (it's working). We also clean and checked the door seals. Because, we have unplugged the fridge/ freezer, it might not be as cool as we wanted asap. so we are waiting if it gets cold again but it doesn't seem to cool down ... We don't know if it can be repaired or not. I notice also in the freezer black dots under the air passages. We would like a diagnosis first.

I have an old commercial freezer in my restaurant, it was there when I bought it the old owner said it used to work but stopped working, I want it looked at and fixed as I want to keep it. I think they said something about the fuze maybe, but don’t take my word for it. You might need to come out have a look and find out what’s wrong with it then fix it, only willing to pay for it 1 time not paying to have it looked at as in a call out fee, and then fixed next time. Will pay extra if any parts needed.
