Chest freezer was shorting out entire house electricity, left it off for a day and have gone to turn it back on but has blown and smoke coming out of it. Opened the vent on the side, the wires were sealed in a plastic bag which had water pooled in it and the wires look burnt. Price negotiable, I’m unsure of what is fair price so please let me know :)

Hi all, I have a 12v/240v Roman 50Lt portable fridge/freezer (ALDI Brand, pretty sure same manufacturer as Waeco). It is approx. two years old and has been working like a dream until recently. On the 12vlt mode it now only chills my food/works for approx. 12 hrs. After this it gradually heats up to ambient temperature. It still works perfectly on the 240Vlt mode.
