Refrigerant removal and disposal

With the fridge removal done, your broken unit will now be brought to an old fridge disposal area. While it may be tempting to stow away the refrigerator at a dump, these appliances can be a bit more tricky. After all, these contain chemicals that can be dangerous if not disposed of correctly. As such, it must be taken to a proper disposal facility not only to comply with local legislation but to help ease the impact on the environment as well.

Fridge freezer disposal and recycling

If brought to a proper recycling plant, then your drained fridge casing will be dismantled to its base parts for recycling. I suspect you need the usual trolley and straps etc etc especially at the delivery location due to stairs etc to get it inside and up to the second level of the house.
