Fridge pick-up and removal

Whether you're looking to retire an old refrigerator or need to get a broken fridge removal, your Tasker can figure out the best way to remove it from your kitchen without damaging your property. This way, you won't even have to worry about doing the heavy lifting yourself!

Refrigerant removal and disposal

With the fridge removal done, your broken unit will now be brought to an old fridge disposal area. While it may be tempting to stow away the refrigerator at a dump, these appliances can be a bit more tricky. After all, these contain chemicals that can be dangerous if not disposed of correctly. As such, it must be taken to a proper disposal facility not only to comply with local legislation but to help ease the impact on the environment as well.

Fridge freezer disposal and recycling

Once the chemicals have been removed, your old unit can now be disposed of safely. If brought to a proper recycling plant, then your drained fridge casing will be dismantled to its base parts for recycling. Fridge is approx 200L top mount fridge, and wooden crate (planter box) is 117cm x 117cm x 40cm. Both items have previously been moved by a single person using a trolley, and could fit into a ute tray or van. Moving from one house in Reservoir to a garage in a second house, also in Reservoir. No stairs in either house. One small step in doorway to first house though. Need this job completed either this Friday 17th (after 4pm), this weekend 18th-19th (anytime Saturday or Sunday), or by Monday 20th (morning) at the latest.
