The gas lift mechasnism of the storage bed does not work effectively, making the bed hard to lift. and it does not hold the bed up. It's quite dangerous to use. Not sure if the installation was faulty or if the gas cylinders need replacing.

I have a bed that is already put together, but one of the 'arms' of the hydraulic lift was broken in the packaging, so it doesn't currently have the lift function that lifts the mattress up for under-bed storage. We would like to move this heavy bed from main bed room to a guest bed room. This is a machine operated bed for home care, so it is very bulky and heavy. Cannot be moved until some dissembling is done. Rooms are on the same level and no stairs involved, but the doorways are narrow. Once moved to the guest room, it needs to be assembled again.
