Need 2 reasonably strong people to move a few items of furniture back into place following floor sanding, during which they were moved to other rooms in the house: * Large sofa (~2.5m long) * Reclining armchair * Hardwood table (~1.8m long) * Bookcase * Cabinet * a few smaller items if time, within the one hour we expect for the job. The sofa needs some expertise to get it through doorways and around awkward corners - we did it ourselves before the sanding in about 20 mins but are happy to pay someone to do this without damaging paintwork or newly-sanded floors! All the other items are straightforward, just need to be carried up to 10 metres max between rooms. No vehicle required as all the work is within the same house. Can’t start before 4pm Thursday 28th - preferably ASAP after that.

Floor sanders arrive on Monday so I need help moving furniture. Most will go down a flight of stairs. 4-5 things are heavy (2x 3 seater couch, dining table, cabinets). Will need 2 people but think it’s about 2 hours max as there are only a few rooms.

I only have: - a folded single bed frame (foldable, so the legs will not stick out) - single mattress - small bedside table - kitten in carrier bag (she’ll stay with me) - litter box - standing mirror - small desk - five boxes - a few bags - three suitcases (1x small, 2x large) - one desk chair - two outdoor chairs (easily stackable). The front door is accessed via a short flight of stairs outside, & there are also stairs inside the house which lead to the room where the items need to be removed from. Therefore the items will need to be brought down the stairs. So no additional costs please. *Please note*: the two outdoor chairs & desk do not fit down indoor the stairs. However, the room has a balcony, so they will need to be roped down from the balcony to the ground level. Fixed price only please. I am looking for a removalist and a truck to move furniture from Birchgrove to the Central Coast (Pearl Beach). This is a 90 minute drive. It will also include 3 stops to collect other furniture on the way.
