We’re looking for someone to help us move our furniture from our storage unit in Port Adelaide back to our house in Glanville. Details of the Job: - Storage Unit Size: Approx. 15 cubic metres (2m wide x 3m long x 2.5m high), located on the second floor of the storage facility. Access is via a loading bay and large lift. - Truck Access: The clearance to the loading bay is 2.4m, but larger trucks can reverse back into the driveway all the way the loading bay roller door. We can then ensure the roller door remains open during loading. This would prevent any height issues. Items to Move: Fridge, Washing machine & dryer, 3 shelves (full of boxes), a couple of wooden cabinets, 2 dining tables (disassembled; one has a heavy and fragile ceramic top), Chairs, Chest of drawers, 3-seater corner sofa, mattresses (1 Queen, 2 Single, and a smaller one) and a few other smaller pieces of furniture. Both my husband and I will be available on the day to assist. We estimate the job will take no more than 3–4 hours. Potentially even less than that, it's a bit hard to tell. Emptying the storage unit, bringing everything down to the loading bay and loading the truck is going to be the longest part; unloading at the house shouldn't take too much time.
