I have some rips on the couches on our boat that I need repaired on site. If you’re able to do it invisibly that’s great. However if there is a stitch that’s visible I do understand. I just need to stop them getting worse.

I have 5 wooden dining chairs that are a bit high for the table. I need a few centimetres cut off the bottom of each leg to lower them. I need someone skilled with the right tools, as I need a smooth even cut so the wood doesn’t split and I don’t want the chairs to rock or be unbalanced. 5 chairs with 4 legs each = 20 cuts (approx 3cm diameter) - Due date: Flexible

We require a carpenter to assist with 2 small pieces of furniture repair. One is a dining table that was damaged in transit and has split at a seam (see picture). The mover attempted to fix this by drilling in a large wood screw but the wood was too hard and it made the damage worse. We just require the skilled and successful insertion of 1 or 2 screws and some wood glue - the appearance of the table will be largely preserved so filling in over the screws may not be needed. The second is a desk leg that has broken off. The wood to which it is attached is also quite damaged so there is no longer a good anchor for a wood screw. A patch of thin wood for anchoring could be applied either on the bottom area (but this would require the leg itself to then be shortened) or above/inside the desk (I believe there would be space underneath the drawer to allow for this) Thanks

They are plastic, may need special paint. From the research I have done it may need to be heat sealed. Need experience with doing something like this previously. Chairs are in the eastern suburbs.
