We have a one piece steel garage door (belt operated). Lately it has been making a lot of noise when opening/closing. Firstly, there's a lot of squeaking. We tried applying lubrication, but this only solves the problem for about 2 months, then it returns again. Another issue is the loud slamming noise when it opens and closes. It's causing the whole wall of the house to shake and can be heard/felt at the other end of the house it's so loud. It only started doing this about 2 months ago.
