I have an investment property (two storey & 4 BR house). Need to do gas compliance check and provide certificate as per Victorian govt tenancy laws. This needs to be a Type A gas fitter. As per the law: The gasfitter should be licensed or registered gasfitter who is endorsed in the specialised class of Type A gas appliances servicing work (Gas Serving Type A on the Plumbers Identity Card). Also provide a record of the gas safety check. The document must include: 1. Their full name and business details, including licence or registration number of the gas fitter who performed the check 2. the date the safety check was conducted, and 3. the results of the check, including any servicing and repairs required and actions taken to address the repair.

An old gas log fire will need to be removed and a new one will be installed. As the new one is bigger than the old one in size, adjustments to the back wall will be needed in order for the new gas log fire to fit. In height, 50mm of bricks will need to be cut. Thanks
