I have an old wooden side gate that needs to be replaced. I have bought 2 x adjustable metal gate frames from Bunnings & hope to reuse the wooden palings from the original gate. It will need to be fixed to 2 x brick pillars. Total width approx 2 metres.

Hi there, We installed an Ikea kitchen about three years ago. It came with a Lagan integrated dishwasher. The last week or so the dishwasher doesn’t appear to be cleaning as well as it used to. Wooden gate has had its top hinge pulled out of the gate post due to windy weather. A long fence paling adjoining the gate post has also split as a result. We require the gate to be reattached to the gate post and the fence pailing to be replaced.

Hi there, I’m looking to replace an old wood swing gate with a new powder coated aluminium horizontal slat gate, 6-8 mm spacing (colour ‘monument’) with lock. The gate is 2.55 m wide by 1.65 m high. Would prefer a single gate but open to double. Any questions let me know. Included photo of existing, and proposed gate. Flexible on time (over next few weeks?)

Fix or replace gate latch. A new latch can be placed in the same place but the screw holes in the wood may need to be filled. I don’t have a replacement part for it yet but Ashfield Bunnings is 2 mins away. Pics show both sides of the gate.
