Hi, we're building a new smartphone app, and need a logo and basic brand assets that we can use for the initial stages of app development and marketing. The app is a consumer-focussed app, targeted at inner-city young-ish adults (25-45yrs) with active social lives. The purpose is to help us make our prototype look a bit nicer, and a bit closer to a finished product, so these assets will be a placeholder for now. We're looking for something that looks good, will be attractive to prospective investors and customers, but doesn't need to have a fully-fledged brand development / design system at this stage (we will invest in doing that full exercise maybe 6-12 months down the line). The main things we need are: 1. A logo (1:1 aspect ratio) which can be used as an icon for the app, and can be used as an avatar across our various social media accounts, etc. 2. A horizontal lockup (icon + brand name together side by side) 3. A typeface we can use for the brand name, headings and body text (doesn't have to be anything fancy, standard web fonts would be fine here) 4. A basic colour palette which we can use in the app and website. (We will soon need to build a basic website as well, but we'll treat that as a separate piece of work. If this first piece goes well, then we can naturally have a chat about the next :) ) Who we're looking for: Someone that has a couple of years previous experience creating branding for other businesses. I need some cards written by hand. Roughly between 45 and 50 words on the card, I need someone that has reasonable handwriting, happy to give work with as many cards as you would like to write, from 50 through to 5000, happy to pay $1 per card. Looking for someone as an occasional fill in. Ongoing work available. This first job is as an introduction and to demonstrate you skills. It’s a floor plan only job (for marketing): Measure and sketch (to scale) of a commercial site in Kilsyth. It’s about 600m2 and simple rectangle design with large open area. To demonstrate your photographic skills, please display a few relevent samples on your profile page. I can give a little bit of training if needed, but good if you have property photography skills (e.g. can take multiple exposures, using a steady tripod, for HDR style editing). No image editing required. Just need the raw images sent to me. For floor plans, only need a rough sketch, drawn to scale, with measurements. This position is only suitable to someone available during business hours (please don’t make an offer if you already work full time). Ongoing work is in anywhere in Melbourne region. Future jobs are paid as follows: Photography: $80 to $160 per property (5 - 15 images). Floor plan measurement and sketch $100+ per property. You need own transport and equipment to get the job done.
