Double storey house with Colorbond, pitched roof. Roof can be accessed easily from driveway side as it is on the same level as the top floor of the house. The property slopes towards the back, meaning the backyard gutters are 2-storeys high (approximately 5m drop to the backyard). I have a low set rental home where part of the guttering that sits under a roof eave has attracted nesting pigeons. There are no babies. I have removed the nest once and put in small plastic spikes from Bunnings but they are returning. I have cleaned the pigeon excrement away but I suspect it is back. Excrement is also on a small part of the colourbond roof. The area of gutter is probably around 1 metre. That’s where the eave stops. I require cleaning and a permanent deterrent put in place. For instance a gutter guard or permissible spikes. Please see attached picture. The home is at North Lakes. Thank you.
