I would like an experienced carpenter/builder to rebuild the lower section of a gyprock wall (laundry) where moisture has caused the timber bottom plate and bottom of studs to rot & crumble away. In 2-5 years, I would like to rebuild this entire room (as understand the issue is bigger than this one wall!), but for now, would simply like the wall made structurally sound and rotten material replaced with moisture-resistant alternatives to buy me some time before I plan a bigger renovation.
