Find experienced local hairdressers in Outer East Melbourne

I have tried 4 hairdressers trying to get a true shag cut, a 70's shag. As most Women have worn their hair straight and plain for 30 years now I am finding it impossible so far to find anyone that has the skill and experience to do a precision layered cut. I always end up with graduation on the ends (not layers) and simple face framing. When I ask for more layers please, I get some unskilled hacking at with thinning shears (my hair is not thick) or a razor on dry hair. Horrible. I pay my money and walk away, so dissapointed. I have found that there is just not the skill out there anymore, or I don't know the right cutters! Someone please help. Prefer highly trained precision cutter that has been cutting hair since the 80's.

Needing a hairdresser to do a last minute call out for for hair dye, blow wave (short hair) and possibly a trim. Patient is current in Maroondah hospital. Dye will just be packet dye and already supplied. Already have hair dryer and brushes, she has just requested a hairdresser complete instead of family. Don’t have a recent photo of her hairstyle but see picture for length and how she normally has it. Price is absolutely negotiable as it’s a call out and very last minute.

The girls are aged 9 and 4, the eldest has thicker hair. Time should be around 12pm (depending how long you think it will take as we need to be out of the house by 2pm. Would like someone experienced who won’t take too long as they are young kids who won’t be able to sit still for long (can you finish both in an hour)? Please bring your own products (i.e., hairspray, flex gel etc, I could provide hairpins/hair ties if required). I also have hair bows that will need to be pinned in.
