Replace two pram handlebars

$40

Cooks Hill NSW, Australia

9th Sep 2024

I am looking for someone to replace two handlebars on my pram. The handlebars are attached with rivets, so the removal of the old one requires a drill and attachment of the new ones requires a pop rivet gun. It should be a very quick and straightforward job (5-10 mins max) but I don’t have the tools for it. Here are the instructions: 1. Using a drill with a 5mm drill bit, remove the pop rivet on either side of the handle. 2. Remove the existing handle and discard. Make sure all remnants of the rivets are out of the handlebar joint. 3. Place new replacement handle in the handlebar joint. Using a flathead screwdriver, make sure the leather is tucked inside the handlebar joint. 4. Fix the handlebar with 2 x 4.8 x 14mm pop rivets. https://support.edwardsandcobaby.com/s/article/Oscar-M-How-to-replace-the I work from home so am flexible with day/time to complete the task.

Kevin is a great handyman! He is very friendly, arrived quickly and finished the job promptly. Would highly recommend!

Have a temporary door frame installed and a door hung.

$200

Cooks Hill NSW, Australia

12th Jun 2024

Looking to have a temporary door (no screws into the existing walls) and door frame built behind this archway. Was thinking of using 2x4’s for a frame and hanging the door off that. But am open to better ideas. The aim is to give the room which is accessed through the hallway some privacy and reduce noise. Happy to pay for all materials required. Doesn’t have to lock or even be overly aesthetic as this is a rental so it’ll have to go when we do.
