Looking to install James Hardie Villaboard on walls and tile underlay onto timber subfloor in laundry. The floor is 4.5m2 and the walls are 5m2 in total. Stop up gaps between the boards, and install cornices. (Room is 3m x 1.5m). Room is already demolished down to the studs. I will provide the Villaboard and tile underlay sheets. I a very old air con unit removed today, and as a result there is a 10cm wide hole in my interior and exterior wall (plaster inside, brick outside). The hole on the outside is covered over with a metal cover, so it is partially protected, but I want to seal the hole in the brick so that air and moisture and such doesn't still come through to the gap between the walls. The exterior face doesn't need to be pretty as it is covered anyway, it just needs to be functional. I have mostly plugged the inner wall, but I also want to seal the remainder of the gaps around the plug in in the inner wall once the outer wall is sealed.
