The nails of my ottoman lid have come away from the spring. Initially they loosened and by trying to fix them myself (it doesn’t seem to be a one person job) I ended up pulling them all out to start again. Just need 8 nails and a drill. I can supply the nails, but I don’t have a drill. It might actually need a new strip of timber on the bottom side of the lid. Happy for recommendations. Just don’t want to throw it out. I’m stubborn enough to think it can be fixed.
