Hello, I'm from Oscar Wylee. Our store has raised an issue regarding water damage to the floor and walls in the Optom Room. They reported that on Friday, 17th January, they discovered that most of the water in the morning was coming from the corner under the sink. The floors were already moldy, and the black baseboards had begun to bow away from the walls. On the side of the desk and shelving, the wall was damp from the base up to at least 5'6". The area around the power points and shelving was also very damp, and the wall behind the optom chair was similarly affected—though not as severe, it was still quite damp. By Saturday, the walls remained damp, and water was still rising from the floor. Near the door, water was coming up between the floor joints. Someone has poured concrete down a sewer line inspection port on our residential property. It appears that about 2m of the line and the inspection port are filled and need to be replaced. The soil is sandy, it appears the line is no more than 1200 deep and the site has good vehicle access. The incident has been reported to Police, insurance claim has been accepted, so the damaged parts will need to be retained and a report of findings provided following the repair. Detailed quotes required ASAP please.
