I require the removal of seven IC 610 LCR ceiling speakers from a dentists premises ceiling. The speakers are attached to the ceiling with a cam type arrangement which simply mean that the 4 screws need to be reversed a bit to release and allow the speaker to drop out of the ceiling. The task will require a step ladder or normal ladder ( depending on your height), battery powered drill, box or boxes to safely place speakers into without damaging them and some scissors or equivalent to cut off the speaker wires. I estimate that each speaker will take no longer than 5 minutes to remove for someone handy with basic tools as they are only lightly attached to the ceiling. Each speaker will require the magnetic speaker grill to be removed before the screws can be accessed. This can be done by lightly prying off. The grills are a little bit fragile and to be separately stored in another box (box will need to be at least 35cm x 35cm to fit grills in) from the speakers to prevent damage to them. Each speaker is approximately 35x20x18cm and weigh approximately 3.5kg. The removed speakers and an addition boxed speaker (there are 8 in total but one is still in a box) are to be delivered to pack and send Campbell town where they will be boxed for onwards transport. The removal and delivery to pack and send needs to be done on Wednesday or Thursday this week (27 or 28 March 2024)as the premises is closing and no access is possible after this date.
