The mirror is already framed in a wooden frame (dimensions approx 197cm wide x 122cm high). I need a frame to fit into an existing window frame) a cavity of approx 217cmx141cm.The frame can be built of any wood of reasonable strength (dressed pine would probably serve) The mirror will be fixed to the frame at the top and sides allowing a void along the bottom edge.of approx 197cm x 21cm. A length of timber will be fixed along the bottom of the mirror for support. A large rectangle above a smaller rectagle. The smaller wil form a void innto which 2 or 3 upright struts can be inserted for support. It may be possible to replace the backing with lighter material, I am open to that idea.
