Hello everyone, Couple of years back I had a door fixed to have access to the garage by cutting out the wall in between. During the process, the hot water pipe running through the wall cavity was bent to make it go below the bottom of the door and the door frame was fixed. The result- the sill of the door, because of not being fixed to the floor and to leave space for the water pipe are lose (you can see in the two videos attached), there is an ominous space between the skirtings, door frame and the panel , and is nothing less than a deliberate botched up job (the previous handyman was from Airtasker who never picked up the phone after that ). What I am looking for : 1- a plumber who can redirect the hot water pipe to run along the corner of the wall and the floor ( with a rubber covering to prevent accidental touching) or to run it over the frame (which might reduce the water pressure - that we will discuss) 2-A tiler /handyman to fix tiles on the floor that would match the existing floor 3- a carpenter who can install a new door - without any gapes anywhere, and 4- a painter who can make the doors look like they are a part of the house and not some sort of jury rigged job. ……. Or someone who can take care of all the above requirements. I would prefer someone who can come home to see the problem and what needs to be done. … Or, you guys can quote for your part in the job….
