Gate hinge screws are rusty, have come out of timber, as per photo. However, it appears this gate also needs to be shaved down as it’s too wide for the space and it’s not possible to use sliding bolt to secure it shut. I’m posting this for a friend who has just bought this house and started addressing some yard repairs. Have no idea of cost, just put $100 as a guess. Will get a better idea from a few quotes, hopefully!

I have a concrete block wall that has had some of the stucco style renderings removed. The render appears to be the same filler material used on gyprock walls. The render was removed to address a damp issue. I prefer a cement or lime-based render that can handle a bit of moisture. We are talking approximately 4m2.
