Find an experienced handyman in Traralgon

We are hoping to remove a load bearing wall separating our dining room from our kitchen (leaving about a third of it), and installing an overhead beam. We have already had an electrician remove the electrical wiring and there is no water in the wall. We will repair the plaster on either side ourselves, and can negotiate supplying the beam.

Side gate has come away from wall, needs a repair or new door. The wall in between is rendered brick 60cm Wx 120cm H x 25cm D. This could just be patched where it’s come away from the wall. The door is 98cm W x 154cm H x 6cm D. Because the rendered brick has come away from the wall the door wont shut. I’d like someone to have a look whether the door can be cut down, repainted and put back on. Or a new door will need to be fitted. Would love someone to come have a look, make suggestions on the best way to fix it (most affordable too) and repair it for me please. Unsure of price, we can negotiate once you’ve had a look :)
