Hi everyone I am after some quotes on a little renovation task I have hardwood floors in the entry way and kitchen that needs to be sanded down to a lighter colour as it's outdated, also looking to match the new floor colour into the living room which is now carpet so need it removed and installed with a not too cheap not to expensive floor boards. Need to sand the hardwood floor. The area in the red is the portion to be sanded. I have removed the carpet and have removed the side nails of the carpet. But hardwood floor nail still exists. Hey team, Need a professional flooring company to aid me in ripping up carpet in a newly purchased house and polish the hardwood floorboards beneath. There is also some sort of vinyl in the back half of the house which I’d like to do the same for. Beyond the kitchen I plan to tile and make this a laundry / bathroom so nothing needs to be done there. I know it would be hard to quote without seeing the property in person, settlement date is on the 13th of December so post that can walk people through. Just looking for some indicative offers / quotes at the moment based on pictures. I’ve had a nice cheap quote for floating floors at $2000-$2500, but would much prefer to bring the old home to life.
