Assessment of why car won't start, I think it's due to the immobiliser
$100
Thornbury VIC 3071, Australia
1st Nov 2021
I have been doing car DIY and have messed with the door locks and the emergency lights trying to install a flasher relay after putting LED globes in my rear tail lights and have since been experiencing hyper flashing. I have not tried starting the car over the last couple of weeks so I am not sure which part of my DIY'ing has tripped the motor. It will start and turn off within 5 seconds but all my lights work so I think it has something to do with the immobiliser. It is a 2001 Vokswagon golf. I need to be able to drive it to work at 7am on Wednesday so it is a bit of an emergency - Due date: Needs to be done on Tuesday, 2nd Nov 2021
