3.0m long (tops of arms are now removed), but still heavy (frame is Jarrah hardwood & leather) sofa to be moved up 1 flight straight run stairs, with 1.10m landing at top . Very good wide access to hallways. Will require 4-5 men. Going up the stairs, the lower end of sofa has to be lifted over the (1.10m) fragile glass balustrade, from approx 6th tread below first floor level, or over(2.20m) to clear glass balustrade and handed to another man or two men. I have tested this, but was unable to lift one end over with just two men. Ceiling is only 2.70m high, so sofa cannot be fed up the stairs to the landing and stood on its end either.

We have a very heavy stainless steel table/workbench which needs to be moved from the ground level carport at the front of our house to the upstairs workshop at the rear of our house. It could be craned, or possibly lifted with a portable balcony lift or hoist. 3 men delivered it from the back of a truck but would expect 4 to be needed if it’s moved to the rear of the house and then hoisted. Or 3 if it’s craned from the front. Once it is on the rear balcony it will need to be moved to the internal room through a sliding door which is JUST wide enough to fit the table.

I need a three seater and a two seater couch moved from one level to the next level in a two storey house. They need to go up a flight of stairs that turn (or over the balustrade), and then up six more steps. They could be taken over the internal balustrade, or over the external balcony (through wide doors). The couches are old and worth nothing so hoping to not spend too much to get them upstairs. If it's an expensive exercise I won't bother. Just putting out feelers to get an idea of what it would cost. I have attached photos of the three seater, the other is the same, just smaller.
