Need to move some large VERY heavy items of furniture during our renovation. Will need to be moved 2 times on separate days for new carpet installation to be done. TV unit, Buffet, Tallboy drawers and possibly some other items. All solid wood and VERY HEAVY. 2 PEOPLE REQUIRED. You will need to provide your own appropriate equipment for carrying furniture. 1st day mid July, 2nd day end of July.
We used this company to move heavy furniture within the house before carpet installation. Communication with the admin team was good but due to running late from other jobs that day, the guys arrived 7.5 hrs after the scheduled time. The 2 movers were friendly and worked quickly however were a bit careless and rushed moving our heavy items of furniture, dragging and pushing across newly laid timber flooring. Price was comparable to other Airtasker offers. I will use them again to move my furniture back after carpet is laid but will provide clear expectations on how to handle my belongings.
