We need an extra pair of hands or 2 to help with cleaning and packing my mother's house at Wellington Point on Thursday. She has sold and Friday is settlement. Work will involve cleaning walls, skirting boards, bathrooms, window tracks, cupboards, etc. It's a 2 story house. Also maybe some packing - most is done. We have a pile of soil that needs to be spread to the surrounding nature strip and gardens. Ideal for 2 local people for 1 hour each. $50 per hour. A bit of extra cash before work or school. We run a picnic business and need someone to pick up our picnic tables, cushions, rugs, chairs, flowers, plates and cutlery etc from our house in Wynnum and take it to a venue or park for us to setup. We would then require you to come back 3 hours later to pick everything up after we have packed it together and take it back to our house and unload. We would need you to have access to a van and this is mostly weekend work. We were hoping you might be available this weekend to trial and then we can discuss any ongoing work if you’re interested. We were thinking $150 for pickup and packing van, delivering to a park or house and unloading and then coming back 3 hours later to pack the van and deliver back to our house. Happy to discuss fee after we have established a routine. To let you know we sometimes have 5 or 6 picnics in one weekend and some of them can range from 5 to 50 people. There is mostly tables/chairs in some cases that are the big items and everything else will be packed in boxes and bags ready to go. Obviously you must provide the van or whoever takes this task so again let me know A quote please. Please remember this will be regular weekend work but some weekends we may not need you.
