Setting up your Apple ID

If you’re new to using Apple products, your Tasker can help you create your Apple ID. Your Tasker can guide you through the steps in creating your Apple ID until your Apple device is registered with iCloud. Note that while setting up iCloud on each device, you’ll have to register a valid email address, along with other sensitive information like your credit card number and a new password. 

Below are some tips when creating a password for your Apple ID: 

• Create a password of at least 8 characters.

• Use uppercase and lowercase characters, numbers, and symbols for added security.

• Avoid using a generic password like “password1234.”

You can change your password later, but you’ll need to enter the current password to do so.

iCloud setup will ask you to provide 3 “security questions”—questions only you know the answers to. Choose from the provided questions, then write down your specific answers but don’t share these details with your Tasker. The prompt will then ask if you agree to Apple iCloud’s Terms and Conditions. Once you’ve agreed to these terms, you’re done with the iCloud setup!

Setting up on other devices

If you have more than one Apple iOS device, your Tasker can walk you through setting up iCloud on them. The process is similar but with a few variations, so be prepared with your Apple ID and password.
