I’m looking to purchase some furniture from IKEA. I need help with delivery to my address and then immediate assembly soon thereafter. Details: (1) We start with picking up items from IKEA Rhodes. Items include a Hemnes Day Bed Single with Mattress, a Hauga sideboard type storage medium sized, a Beats TV bench with doors & two shelves (small size), a couple of shoe cabinets (also small), a single seat sofa (Strandmon), a footstool. (2) Delivery direct to my house in Lane Cove West. (3) Prepare and assemble immediately afterwards. Assembly could be done inside or nearby my room on first floor. (4) One large wardrobe is already sitting in the living area inside my house. It needs to be moved upstairs to my room. This may require disassembly before moving in order to move it unless you are able to move the whole thing in one go. It is pretty heavy. (5) One shelving unit needs to be moved downstairs to make room for the sideboard. This is an 8 shelf cube. We can bring it down first before starting to assemble. (6) Once all things have been assembled and arranged to their location, we would be left with rubbish disposal. There aren’t many places or spaces at my current house for rubbish disposal. So I would need your suggestion on this. (7) This should cover the list of things to do. Please feel free to share your thoughts on the process. The challenge is the staircase with a kink. To get to my room the furniture would have to be first lifted and then assembled inside or near my room. Also, I would be of minimum help due to a shoulder injury. You would have your tools and vehicle. Please share your thoughts.
