Superwoman!! Emily collected 82 individual flat packs from IKEA for me. That’s an entire kitchen and wardrobe by herself. She arrived on time and was super thorough in cross checking the order at the store (who had not put it together correctly!) Great communication. She totally saved the day as the installers were starting and if it wasn’t for her, part of my renovation would have had to have been delayed. I would definitely hire Emily again, she was absolutely lovely and worked so hard on this task. 100% competent and reliable with so much care for the items. Im so grateful.

What do IKEA Delivery services include?
As the name implies, the Ikea delivery service is just that—delivery of your Ikea purchases from the nearest Ikea store to your home. But as this service entails using a third-party supplier to pick up your Ikea purchases, do note that you must use Ikea’s Click and Collect Service, then provide the necessary documents to the Tasker to ensure they can collect your items from the store. The Click and Collect service is only available in Ikea’s stores at Bristol, Exeter, Leeds, Tottenham, Warrington, Wembley, and of course in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Note that Taskers will adhere to Covid-19 social distancing measures for delivery, and can only bring your items as far as your front door or porch. Taskers cannot bring the items inside your home, nor can they assist in the assembly of the items. Be sure there is someone to receive the items when Taskers arrive.
Delivery to your Doorstep
Once you’ve availed of Ikea’s Click and Collect Service, you will have to furnish Taskers with the necessary receipt or invoice to enable them to collect your items at the Ikea store. The store will practice social distancing measures and claiming the items will be a contact-free process. After they’ve obtained your items, Taskers will inform you of receipt of said items and give you an ETA as they proceed to make the delivery.
Contact-free Delivery
As soon as Taskers arrive at your home with your items, they will only place them on outside your doorstep at a covered area. Due to strict rules on social distancing, Taskers will maintain a distance of at least 2 metres away from you and will not enter your home. Unless specified or booked separately, Taskers cannot assist in the placement, installation or assembly of any of your items once they arrive at your home or delivery address.
