We have thirty-three rigid foam underfloor insulation batts to be installed under our living room. These batts fit snugly between the floor joists. Some minimal cutting might be required on a few. Clearance is about 600mm. My husband and I installed eleven batts to test that they work in position. That took us about an hour. This is a two person job for about three to four hours. It is uncomfortable being under the house and requires dexterity and perseverance. The task will be easier if done in dry weather.
