Got some problem with my internet speed, call internet company, they keep saying some problem withe my internal wiring. Internet keep dropping, done some speed test, sometime upload speed is 0Mb, and not able to connect to my company VPN at all, still got some download speed. But at the time when I call internet company, done some speed test, download 15 - 20Mb, upload 14Mb. The plan i have is NBN 50Mb. Need ACMA certified technician to check internal wiring, and may need to call internet company after we check internal wiring. - Due date: Before Saturday, 25 June 2022

Internet connection issue with old MacBook Pro 15"

MacBook Pro 15 inch mid-2009 model OS - El Capitan Issue: get "Wi-Fi hardware not connected" message when clicking on wifi symbol with x in menu bar. Mac was freezing up; restarting for no apparent reason; would loose internet connection (needed to restart it to get it back). What I've done so far: 1. Replaced hard drive 2. Reset non-volatile memory (NVRAM) and the System Management Controller (SMC) 3. Attempted to uninstall and then reinstall wifi in Network system settings, but when clicking on '+' symbol at the bottom of the pane, there's no wifi option... 4. Reinstalled back up from Time Machine - but no difference. I'm not sure what to try next and obviously need help. I suspect there may be an issue with connection (physical)... not sure
