My home network was set-up by NBN installers. The NBN router is connected to a TP-Link modem (from iiNet) and I added two wi-fi extenders. There are still slow spots. So: 1) I suspect that the modem is not in the most efficient location. I'd like help in determining the most efficient location for the modem, and relocating it if required. 2) I am considering replacing the WiFi extenders with a Mesh Network, and would like help/advice on doing this. 3) There are two locations in the house which would benefit from having a wired Ethernet connection. I'd like help/advice on doing this. I've not done AirTasker before - I've had suggestions to book in a consultation visit, with the offer to come following that. I am working from home. Even with a good 100 mpbs download speed plan, I can't achieve a satisfactory internet connection and speed in every room (5 rooms) of a 2 storeyed townhouse. We are a family of 10 users (~6 active users during office hours and 10 users after office hours) I have tried wifi extenders and wifi mesh technology to get the result but failed. We needed to fix this problem either by finding the correct location for the router or shift the nbn connection from the provider to a suitable location in the house to solve the problem.

My laptops say no google.com IP settings or DNS error

Hi, Needing someone with experience that can fix our recent issue with our home internet. We previously shared our home internet with the back granny flat worked perfectly fine, however since tenants moved out 6 weeks ago, we switched off internet router. All continued to work fine. However Recently we had a new tenant move in, we re-connected the router for the back granny flat, internet worked after many failed attempts, however we now have various issues with main house internet and granny flat internet. We are with Telstra internet, we have done speed tests, it all comes up as excellent, but the internet is not working, it lags. I have given up with calling Telstra as they don’t help. - Smart TV apps do not consistently work, Netflix, YouTube, Disney plus, come with error messages, we have restarted the TV, the modem boxes etc, it works but then goes back to the error message . - connecting wifi to Mobile phone works but the actual wifi does not work, we can’t play videos or browse the internet unless we are connected to our own mobile internet. Otherwise being connected to WIFI alone does not work on mobile phones.

I want someone to set my modem or internet in such an automatic way that it should shut down at 11 pm and on at 8 am pls To save my children’s future

I went on holiday for 1 month and came back and now I can NO Internet connection my computer. I have unlimited Telstra wifi at home and the connection is always GOOD on the tv and phones, but the computer isn’t connected. Please Help .

Hi I need assistance if someone can drop by at our place e to resolve this slow internet issue. I could do on zoom but then the internet doesn’t work.
