Retrieve data from my old iPhone 6. I had the phone sitting in my cupboard for years went to turn it on realised it wouldn’t turn on, went and got the battery repaired and phone is working now, only problem is I had forgotten my password and tried to enter it too many times and no it’s locked completely. I mainly want the images and videos off of it and some messages from my late father which would be great. I know I can reset the whole phone but I don’t want to lose all the data. No the phone isn’t stolen and 100% belongs to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In advance.

I have an iphone that has about 400 GB of photos on it. I need the photos securely moved to an external hard drive. I do not think my PC is big enough to put the photos on there first. Apple seem to make it extremely difficult for no reason.
