My itunes songs which came from my own CD's are missing when syncing. I have about 3200 songs and when i sync from itunes on laptop to devices some artists are missing or some tracks are missing

I'm trying to get a playlist going for Tuesday and working with I tunes/spotify but just need sorting!!!! Need help Sat. morning.

Configure iTunes to exclusively sync music files locally or set things up so that it is easy for us to update playlists on the PC and reflect on each device without duplicate playlists magically appearing c. get rid of some songs saying not available in your region despite the physical file sitting on our server. Large iTunes library on 18yo full size Mac, most music copied from CDs. Need to get rid of old Mac, ideally by having library in iMusic on Macbook Air (2017 model).
