I have some sticky contact that I would like my old existing kitchen counter tops and cupboard fronts covered in. I have already purchased the contact and I am expecting in within the next 10 days or so. I am after someone who has done this before for themselves. I'm extremely worried I'm going to mess it up. I can help whom ever wants to take on the task. I will ensure deep cleaning over the area before arrival.

Fix the edge of kitchen cupboard

Cupboard needs to be cut with circular saw to fit in a piece of equipment. Cut is approximately 400mm by 400mm

Hinge has broken on corner cupboard but can't buy the same hinge in australia apparently. Need either new type of hinge and new mould cut in door or new door with mould cut for hinge and i can paint to match other cupboards.

We need to install a new rangehood, but due to the existing cabinetry, it currently has the rangehood at a non-compliant height from the gas cooktop at 600mm, with the minimum compliant height been 650mm. Normally if there was space above, we could look to lift the cabinetry, but this goes all the way to ceiling. We are thinking that the best way would be to remove an inner shelf and trim back the doors, which will have the rangehood sitting higher and not flush with rest of cabinetry but would be at a compliant height. I have an area above my stove where a ducted rangehood used to be. (Pic A) I would like an extension of the adjacent kitchen cupboard built, so my electrician can install a pull-out rangehood beneath it. (Pic B) The approximate size is 155cm long and 80cm tall. The cupboard will have one shelf through the middle and glass doors to match existing cupboards. (Pic C) I have provided photos of the materials I would like used to match the existing layout. (Pic C) I would also like the hole in the ceiling to be sealed as part of this project. (Pic B) My electrician will replace the rangehood powerpoint once the cupboard is built so it needs to be accessible. (Pic B) Design and build needs to be compliant with safety standards for the distance of the bottom of the rangehood that will be installed to the stove surface. You will need to advise on that.
