If you do not celebrate Christmas and are free on 25 December, we are looking for someone to assist from 11am to 6pm (7 hours) with: 1. Preparing food (direction will be given), 2. Serving meals and drinks (waiter / waitress), 3. Washing pots, dished and glasses - and generally helping to stay on top of the day. 1 to 2 people potentially required. There will be 9 adults and 7 children / old children. Thank you.

I am looking for a party helper! Someone to keep the kitchen and surrounds tidy during a party, wash platters, glasses etc, help with any spills, and help get the buffet ready (we have caterers but help them set the food on the table). You must also be comfortable working with food and assist if required to cut up lemons for the bar, replenish the cheese platter, help serve nibbles from the oven etc. There won't be a lot of washing up as we are using plastic plates and cutlery, and plastic cups (except for cocktails). It will be a fun crowd of 50-60 family and friends and you will have a great time while working! Must present well e.g. white shirt black pants/hospitality attire. Time required is 3pm-10pm.

I am looking for a waiter/ kitchen hand from 1pm to 6pm tomorrow (Melbourne Cup day) to help with a party at home. You would need to stack and unstack the dishwasher, keep the kitchen clean, plate up some food, take out empty bottles and help keep the house tidy. I’m hosting a 50th birthday barbecue for 20 people by myself and I’ve suffered a minor sporting injury that’s stopped me from the usual kitchen hand duties: *keep food preparation areas clean clean kitchen equipment and appliances *clean benchtops, floors, ovens and ranges *receive, lift, handle and store food deliveries *retrieve food items as requested by me *assist with food preparation *wash dishes, pots and utensils *ensure working areas are kept clear *throw trash out I will also need help laying tables before guests arrive and gathering used crockery and glassware after lunch to bring it into the kitchen to be rinsed and stacked back into containers for washing offsite. Preferably, I can leave you to brown onions on the stove top. The rest of the cooking will be done by me outside in the garden at the barbecue. Besides me doing the cooking in the garden, two people will be in the garden with me and coming in and out of the kitchen, one of whom is responsible for wine and the other responsible for dessert, which is two birthday cakes.
