Metal lamp that when on, has crackle sound & light comes on & off. Not safe to use. Requires re wiring? Table lamp. Also a floor lamp from 60's. It crackles when on too. Re wiring? - Due date: Flexible

Our standing lamp fell over and the bulb socket has detached from the top. As you can see from the pictures below, the socket can be refitted but will require the wire to be fed through the base of the bulb socket before it can be reattached. Should be a relatively easy job for someone with the correct tools.

Licensed Electrician to Repair Lamps - Lamps to be picked up and returned to our home in Coburg after repairs via COVID safe exchange. 1x Standing Lamp Current Problem: - Loose connection causes lamp to flicker - Very old, insulation may have worn down Task: - Source new electrical cord, plug and switch and assemble - Thread electrical cord up stem of lamp and terminate at globe holder - Source new globe holder if necessary and install - Ensure lamp shade mount fixed on properly - Test and tag cord 2x Table Lamps Current Problem: - Non-Australian plugs - Poor wiring, wires have come out of globe holder in one - Insulation on wires looks weak, breaks can be seen in one, showing no insulation between wire and external frame Task: - Source new electrical cord, plug and switch and assemble - Thread electrical cord up stem of lamp and terminate at globe holder - Source new globe holder if necessary and install - Ensure lamp shade ball can be installed properly - Test and tag cord
