My push mower was running fine when I used it then it ran out of fuel. I topped it up to continue the job but uelthen it didn't start. I had lost the fuel cap a week or so before so i was thinking some debris might have entered the fuel tank. I removed the fuel hose and drained the fuel, put more fuel in but still wont start. 22 year old Masport Stratton Briggs 4 stroke having issues. Won’t turn off. Had to disconnect at the front of mower. Had the same problem 10years ago. Apart from that, it has been a terrific, reliable mower. I can’t get it into my car so repairs would have to be done at my place or pick up & drop off. Don’t really want to buy a new mower but depends on cost to repair it.
