I bought a Cheetah 16" 127cc Cut And Catch Lawn Mower lawn mower from Bunnings the other day and tried to use it for the first time this weekend. I followed the instructions to the letter to assemble it, I’ve put petrol and engine oil into the correct areas, however when I go to start it, I press the red button three times, pull back the starter handle to the “hare” position and pull the string and it makes a sound as if it’s going to start but it doesn’t catch. I’ve tried it a lot of times now and can’t get it going. I will take it back to Bunnings if needs be but I wanted someone who knew what they were doing to check it over first in case it’s my fault and I’m not started it properly

My push mower was running fine when I used it then it ran out of fuel. I topped it up to continue the job but uelthen it didn't start. I had lost the fuel cap a week or so before so i was thinking some debris might have entered the fuel tank. I removed the fuel hose and drained the fuel, put more fuel in but still wont start. I can't get it serviced or looked at at my local Sthil shop for 2 weeks and i really need to be able to use my mower.
