Hi We are looking for someone to help us set up a six-bedroom house in Rye and help us look after it for the long term. We have only just settled and its for us and family and friends to enjoy. It needs a little bit of love to set up and it’s currently being painted. There will be a bit of building going on outside over the course of the year including a pool and a deck and some of this work will be done by me. We are currently interviewing people to see if they would be a good fit and checking if you would be interested or have availability to help us look after it for the long-term. Jobs will mainly be house keeping, cleaning and light maintenance but it will extend to everything you would do to look after it like your own home. I will be doing some of the build myself so if you are handy with tools and enjoy it then there is opportunity to for work there as well To give you a background on , We have a short stay apartment business in the city where we manage 50 properties and have had the same team with us for 10 years plus. My girl loved being groomed until that groomer sold business & new guy terrified her in 1 visit to the point where she had an accident when he came in to get her! I thought it might have been because I’d had a ‘non animal’ paramedic take me to hospital a few days before but groomer actually didn’t finish her (but charged full amount!) because he couldn’t restrain or control her sufficiently. She’s never been like that! Even when I have to get burrs or knots out & im disabled so it would become difficult very easily! She’s a sweet little girl & it breaks my heart. I’ve started trying to get her used to having things like clippers around & the noise being around but not forcing her & she’s getting a little better but still jumpy. It’s hard as I’m not well enough to do it every day. She needs a good, close clip as she has a habit of rubbing herself on the carpet around her head which mats & knots the hair under there if not clipped properly. I really need a calm and calming groomer who can come here and gradually get her to love it again. Part of it might be that she generally prefers females to males and it helps if you give treats (of course!) which I don’t think he did. Experienced, patient and calming I will need do we can get get back to thinking the groomer arriving is a treat again.

Looking for a permanent domestic cleaner. This is an ongoing job weekly. They must be very Thorough with an incredible eye for detail. I am super particular and I like all areas cleaned not just skimming clothes around items on benches. $35 cash per hour. Consistent weekly work and a minimum of 2-3 hours per week. I always have clothes laundry and domestic chores to do if you are looking for more hours. The rate set to the task is for the first hour.
