I have a sliding door with a lock. I need to replace that lock with a double cylinder lock. The bathroom has 2 doors. 1 door is to the hallway, which is fine. And 1 door to the bathroom that I want it to be shut and locked for as long as I want. So please suggest if a double cylinder lock work in the sliding door?

My 3 bedrooms currently use door handles without lock. The hole to install the new door handle with lock is too small so some work is needed. After that, install the door handle with lock in. I already got the new door handle

Front entrance lock is busted. Had a locksmith out yesterday who tried to fit a new lock + handle, but said the old holes were too bent out of shape to make it work. Advised I need new timber in the holes, sanded then painted before creating new holes for my new lock. Alternatively it could be cheaper to just install a new door.
