Remove hissing noise when accelerating- mazda tribute 2007
$100
City of Tea Tree Gully SA, Australia
4th Jan 2023
Bought a 2007 Mazda tribute on Facebook marketplace. Noticed whenever I press the brake pad it makes a click sound, then when I accelerate and start releasing the accelerator this make a hissing noise (like a vacuum is leaking or air escaping) My mechanic did a test drive and suggested it’s the brake booster. I have spoken with a brake booster specialist who also suggested this is the problem. They only service the brakes and do not operate on engine as they aren’t mechanics. The brake booster was removed by mechanic and testing was done by the brake specialist on it ( pressure test, leak test, e.t.c). They have confirmed the brake booster is perfectly fine without any leaks. Now I need a mechanic who can find out and correct the hissing nose when releasing the accelerator when during the car. - Due date: Before Saturday, 7 January 2023
