Boat Four Winns V318 twin MERCRUISER. Vessel at Mooring. Please provide quote for: Guest Cruising Charger Part#2633A-230 Electrical Issue - Boat 240 VAC. No 240VAC power available to battery charger when running on GENSET. Suspect GUEST Cruising 30A 3 Bank Battery Charger defective. Replacement unit most likely required. Generator works, provides 240 power to GPO's and Appliances yet battery charger remains off with no power indications. With Charger off, unable to charge batteries with either GENSET or Engines/Alternator etc. Battery charger breaker appear functional when tested with a multimeter, Open cct when Off, Short Cct when On. Other 240V Appliances share the same bus bar and work under GENSET power. 12VDC supplies functional. Battery Charger LEDS extinguished indicating nil power available, was working, failed over the last few days. Mechanic - Steering Failure. Steering Cable extends when disconnected from Glide tube. Steering cable appears binded in Glide Tube. Extension of Cable indicated allot of grease had been utilized previously, possible emulsification contributing to seizing. Probably needs heat to assist in removal.
