Bike is a 2005 Suzuki VL250 intruder it sat for years it got new fuel, new oil, new spark plugs, new oil filter I got it running a bit rough and running rich but now it won’t start I’m suspecting it’s not getting fuel it seems to be running straight through the carbi and out the overflow (but i ain’t no mechanic)

Hi, I had a friend check oil levels on my car as I’ve got no idea, he then filled up oil in car as it was very low. He’s now just told me he thinks he put way to much in and I need to possibly drain some? No idea if this is the case or how to do so.
