What does a mechanic service usually include?

Minor service
This is the most basic engine service a mechanic provides, but it can make a huge difference in whether or not your car can operate efficiently. Then checking fluid levels, windscreen wipers, windows, mirrors, steering, suspension, radiator, fan belts, and tyre pressure. Your mechanic will finish off by stamping your logbook to record the services completed, which can help maintain your car’s resale value.
Roadworthy certificate or pink slip
A roadworthy certificate or pink slip is a specific vehicle check that’s conducted to ensure your car is in a roadworthy condition and can be operated safely. In some states, it’s required when selling a car or may be required each year to confirm your vehicle is safe for registration purposes. A mechanic will check off a list of predetermined items to verify that your car meets a minimum safety standard set out by your state government. Update to task: to a specific day needed and added front rotor replacement. For my 2011 Mitsubishi Pajero I need… 1. The front brake pads replaced. 2. The front rotors replaced 3. Need someone with experience changing gearbox and driveshaft in Subaru Outback 2006 (manual). My son is an apprentice mechanic and he changed the gearbox over in his car, but couldn’t get the driveshaft fitted afterwards. This coming Sunday, he would like assistance to fit the driveshaft, and potentially re-fit the gearbox if that’s needed. He has the tools and parts, but lacks experience on that activity and therefore we want to pay for someone with knowhow to oversee and assist. To anyone who knows how to do this, I can imagine this is fairly quick and easy.
David helped us out overcoming some challenges with my son’s Subaru rebuild. Good guy and got things done. No complaints!
