What does a mechanic service usually include?

Minor service
This is the most basic engine service a mechanic provides, but it can make a huge difference in whether or not your car can operate efficiently. A roadworthy certificate or pink slip is a specific vehicle check that’s conducted to ensure your car is in a roadworthy condition and can be operated safely. In some states, it’s required when selling a car or may be required each year to confirm your vehicle is safe for registration purposes. A mechanic will check off a list of predetermined items to verify that your car meets a minimum safety standard set out by your state government. I'm looking for someone who can first confirm diagnosis, then if needed, replace the clutch kit and flywheel in my 06/07 Nissan Xtrail (AWD) in the next week. Main issue as far as I know is that the thrust bearing is buggered and have been told we may as well replace the whole thing.
